Oak-framed buildings

Morton can create a cosy intimate room or an impressive cathedral-like structure using traditionally jointed and pegged oak timbers. Selecting the right piece of wood for its shape and size only comes from a craftsman’s experience, we would use the natural shape of the tree to create a curved brace that is much stronger than one cut from a straight piece of wood, this knowledge allows us to produce these beautiful and timeless open spaces.
